(Book Review + Free Book) Soul of a Dream Catcher By Mark Weeks

By Tonny Wandella

Author Mark Weeks has always gone back in time to bring us timeless wisdom from the past. He summons the mystics, the shamans, the sages, and the legends that have somehow managed to dent our world, albeit in micro degrees. His previous works, such as Code of the Conqueror-The Journey: A 21st Century Crusade For Self-Mastery, had a shaman and a master warrior from the bloodline of Genghis Khan lead the way for a young and lost tourist man.

And through his other edifying novel, Napoleon – Way of the Conqueror: 7 Leadership Lessons He Used & Abused where He takes us back in time not only to meet the great French military genius but also introduced us to his deepest thoughts and aspirations. Through all his books, timeless wisdom that has and will always transcend time has had to hold the torch of guidance.

The Soul of a Dream Catcher is another masterpiece beautifully done by author Mark Weeks. Set in 1948’s worn-torn Italy, we follow Emiliana in her struggle to break free from her parents’ invisible net and seek a life on her own terms. Emiliana meets a witch, a warrior monk, and a shamanic goddess to help her chart her journey and discover her real destiny through tragedy, folly, and perseverance.

This book has been painted with vivid words and situations that try to remind us of the importance of pursuing our aspirations and attaining our destiny. It also reminds us of the assistance the universe sends us through strangers, odd or not, who help lead us when we are weary and uncertain. Soul of a Dream Catcher is a book for dreamers, encouraging us all to pay close attention to ourselves and the universe. Emilia has a long way to go to realise her aspirations despite trusting the process and relying on wisdom bestowed to her by a witch, a warrior monk, and a shamanic goddess. Discover what happens to her in this fantastic novel.

Tips to Improve Your Reading Speed

By Tonny wandella

What Is Speed Reading and How Does It Work?

Instead of identifying individual words, speed reading is the process of quickly recognizing and assimilating phrases or sentences on a page all at once.

Whether it’s emails, reports, and websites at work or social media, books, and magazines at home, the amount of information we digest appears to be increasing by the day. We’re probably under pressure to get through this knowledge as rapidly as possible so that we may “keep in the know” and make educated decisions.

We’ll examine the talent of speed reading in this post and ways for reading better and faster. We’ll also look at the benefits and drawbacks of speed reading, including when it’s good to do it and what impact it can have on comprehension.

The first step to success is to understand the “how” and “when” of speed reading. Here are some more suggestions to assist you:

The first step to success is to understand the “how” and “when” of speed reading. Here are some more suggestions to assist you:

Avoid Distractions.

To allow you to focus fully on the words in front of you, create an environment with as few interruptions and distractions as possible.

Take it Easy.

To gain a sense of which strategy will work best for you, read a simple novel or a small online article. Set a timer to see how much faster you are reading now, and gauge how much you’ve remembered or absorbed.

Words You’ve Already Read Should be Covered.

This prevents your eyes from darting back to previous words, slowing down your reading.

Determine what you want to get out of the text.

If you’re skimming, this can help because it prepares you to pay attention when you see relevant words, sentences, or phrases. Slow down or circle these spots for more emphasis, but otherwise move fast across the page.

Keep track of your progress.

You’ll be able to detect if your practice is paying off this way. Many free speed reading tests can be found online, such as at ReadingSoft.com.

It’s all about practice, practice, practice.

To improve in fast reading, you must practice. The more you practice, the more natural it becomes.

You can utilize a variety of strategies to increase your reading speed. They all include scanning a page rather than “sub-vocalizing” each word like you were probably taught in school. Excellent speed reading includes practice and retraining yourself, and also learning to focus more on what is in front of you and avoiding distractions. However, it’s critical to find the perfect balance between speed and comprehension: rapid reading isn’t always suitable or beneficial.
