Be happy with who you are and what you have in your life right now!
So many of us work hard, provide for our families and sacrifice ourselves to the max, so much so that we can easily surrender our happiness and inner passions in the process.
We simply bury our heads in the sand and believe we will catch up on our dreams someday. Unfortunately you know as well as me that ‘someday’ is merely an illusion to get you through another day. Is there a solution? Is there a magic pill to keep your dreams alive whilst you go through the daily grind?
Of course there is, there’s a solution for everything, just Google it. But whilst I have your attention for the next 64 seconds, here’s a baby step towards becoming a true conqueror.
As you apply yourself to your daily tasks discipline yourself to do the same on your positive upbeat attitude. You are only limited by your own imagination, just do something small everyday at the same time for 28 days, you’d be surprised how easy an habit is cultivated after this period. You could simply start with a little smile to yourself when you clean your teeth in the morning, no matter how silly you may initially feel, it’s okay I won’t tell anyone. Just find an easy way to introduce a little positivity within your daily routine.
By implementing one little glimmer of an upbeat attitude will have such a profound domino effect and naturally lead to more ‘moments’. Whatever you focus on will return tenfold, (a story for another day! 🙂
By feeling a little more positivity flowing through your mind, no matter how you choose to stimulate it, will give you a new lease of life. The key is to maintain this ‘little buzz’ everyday you have breath in your body. All it requires is a little daily practice and discipline. Yet lack of discipline on something so simple to achieve is why so many people fail at building a positive attitude, allowing their minds once more to conquer them, instead of them conquering their own minds.
To have read this far proves you have the conquering spirit within you, all you have to do is continue to better yourself everyday, but do so now by being aware of your emotional state. Replace negative attitudes with positive ones. As bad as things can be they could always be worse. And as conquerors of our own minds we know griping and complaining will not make a difference, no one listens anyway! But a simple consistent optimistic attitude will always turn things around. Reminding you to be happy with who you are and what you have in your life right now, after all #URConqueror of your destiny.
